Lhaki construction was established in the year 1989 by Dasho Ugen Dorji. Initially the office was started as sole proprietorship manned by small group of people. The first project executed by the company was Natural Resources Training Institute (NRTI) at Lobesa amounting to Nu.15.50 million. NRTI was officially handed over after completion of the Project in all respects in the year 1993.
Gradually in few years’ time the Company started gaining momentum in financial status and achieved notable practical experiences in the Construction industry. Thereafter, with the enhanced experience acquired, the business expanded resulting to up gradation in terms of activities and scale of operation.
The head office is located at 2nd floor of City Mall, Chhubachhu, Thimphu. Post Box # 179, The company is graded by the Construction Development Board as a large Scale industry specialized in the field of building commercial complex, hospital, mega factories, resorts, water supply, irrigation & flood control and road and bridge construction.
The Company is equipped with qualified and efficient team members in engineering, management and administration to execute construction projects professionally. Technical professionals with 15 to 35 years of work experienced in the field of construction and project management are intact and working with the company.
